Dea was walking about the castle as he wonder what was going to happen. The kingdom had no queen. She was in her homeland for a few days and Dea was oder to stay at the castle. he didn't want to stay but the queen told him to. Dea saw the queen more as a mother then a queen. he had no will to over rule her and stayed behind as he waited to be with her but as the days went by and the nights came. As he waited for her.Dea was the highest rank in the castle and was under only one persons word the queen.

Greened eyed yet not envious this time. With locket round her neck and trinkets and bracelets round her wrist her more fiendish magic remained hidden. She was now a royal body guard and in her charge she would serve till the time came to see the plan come into fruition. Throwing her hips back and forth the sultry yet sweet glimpse of her thigh stray only into view for a second before being covered once more by blood soaked crimson cloth. Though she had arrived at the castle days ago she avoided contact with any in the castle for anyone with any sort of magical sense would likely catch the vile smell of ebon magic staining her soul. The tendrils of darkness clenched her heart tightly and this putrid union gave birth to a sickly sour magic scent which trailed her. Having just recovered from her battle with the void she was slightly weakened but so was the locket which she used to hide her aura. Now in the absence of light she would be slightly illuminated by color according to her mood. It was her intention to keep walking the castle until she could find her way through it backward but this was not to be. Before her stumbled the queens lost as if he were a puppy without his charge. His dedication was admirable but his lack of motivation and lust for power made him useless to her. The pure of intention and the good hearted were like poison to her. Locking her emerald gaze upon the back of the boy gave her some insight as to what he could do. To learn of his power would make the slitting of throats oh so much easier when the time came.
Though she was quiet her bright bejeweled trinkets, golden wrist bands and intensely shiny anklets gave her steps the all the music of a wind chime. Each tone and note struck a chord which seemed to echo deep into the hallowed halls of the muted colors of their current surroundings. It brought some much needed feeling to the drafty but strangely uncouth monotone grey bricked halls. Though half daft lanterns twisted upon their post lit the way the light seemed to skip spots in a pattern somewhat a kin to the broad of pawn and kings. It was slightly fitting that each step seemed to be orchestrated by an unseen hand which lead the fool hardy to their inevitable end. In the dim light of the shadowed halls his armor gripped intently to a shimmer of violet but to much of this color was lost in the pale shine of the last rays of light for the day. The bared pit and pat of her grace filled feet upon the rose as she approached the knight’s back. He seemed aimless and lost as was noticed before but it was not until she was almost upon him that she picked up upon a sort of melancholy haze which permeated his presence. Fingering through a few lose strands she stopped just a few feet from his geared back. Within her hair wrapped into the long hick braid was her oak wood pipe which always burn of inscents at night for it was something she had done since her mortal days. To the humans she presented herself as Lafitte Noireene Enkosh steeling the name of her long dead master. Though words were called for it was not her way she would simply stand behind him for a moment until he greeted her it was just how she did things.

Dea had been on his feet for a long time but when he head someone coming he was ready at all times. it was his only power. to let other think that he was not the same with out his queen and then he looked at her. his eyes became evil looking and mad with power in away. who are you? he asked as he was ready for anything and wonder why she was over her next to the queens room. As he tune to face her. his aura around him became dark and he didn't like anyone new this room. As he waited for her to talk he was looking over her to make sure nothing was out of sight.

Upon averting his gaze from the void the knight noticed the tiny in comparison madden of crimson and black delights. Placing her hands at her sides she gently and with almost eons old experience she lace one leg forward and strut one back. In this position she allowed the fore limb to buckle a bit lowering her slowly and gracefully. As she lowered her self she griped her wraps of fabric she called a dress around mid thigh, lifting her hands slightly she lowered more and preformed the model curtsey. Though her body had lowered her head never did she did not ever take her eye off the knight’s upper body. A sliver of spite hung close to her display of respect but it could not be helped her age and pride did not allow her to show respect to mortals. The immortal had been called to the castle for a review of her skills to see if she could in fact take on the job of royal guard. Though the royalty had heard of her skills she was not exactly who they thought she was. The blonde standing in before the knight was more than a woman more than human but with her many spells and many trinkets she presented almost perfectly as the creature they wanted her to be. After displaying feigned submissiveness the deviant rose so that she could greet his dark eyes with her brilliantly green ones. The knight had asked an interesting question, thought it was not the question she normally was asked she was delighted to think upon the answer. Most often she was asked what are you so this in its self was an amusingly pleasant turn of events. The quick and truthful answer would be that she was many held together under a single name.
Lifting her hand and placing it behind the gold tipped smoking edge of her pipe, she taped it once lightly which caused it to slide but a bit. With another smaller even more lithe tap of her fore finger the pipe fell out of her hair. Less than a single and solitary second after the pipe fell so did her large blonde braid, it would seem the pipe was all that held her braid together. Catching the pipe in her other hand behind the leather corset which she wore when she was on her own time. Hair falling down in torrents she looked a bit like a human water fall with pristine silk like hay colored hair as water. Fingering it a bit out of her face she gaze upon the imposing figure before she came to about the right response. Though the knight attempted to appear darker more menacing and ominous than he had just a moment ago he could not. He was a sentinel a monolithic protector of the crown, what did she have to fear from such an individual. His moodiness did not appease her though he had asked a delightful question but not the right way this in turn would get him an answer he did not like. She would see to it that she from this point on that she would be as rude as possible to the knight for his rudeness was not appreciated.”To you my good royal guard I am like kin but this one would not assume you would know it,” her words held a rather sarcastic note to them. The witch held no love for those whom would cold upon a first meeting. She had heard much about the knight before she arrived but not that he sought to frighten guests.
“Maybe They will allow me to replace the old when I am knighted,” she muttered to herself quite load as she allowed her gaze to roam the halls of embittered grey stone. The witch had likely stumbled upon the area where the puppy patrolled. In his stamping grounds it seemed only natural that he would be apprehensive to see visitors, but she would not excuse him on these grounds at least not for the time being. Placing amber oak pipe to her soft rose colored lips the witch inhaled deeply giving the scented fragrant to find their way deep into her lungs. Greeted by grand and great feelings of home the witch exhale her gaseous comfort, and seeing how she now stood directly in his path the smoke was all for him. Enraptured in a deeply rose colored haze she allowed the pinkish colored mist to seem from her nostrils and from the opposite end of the pipe. If he would be rude she would be rude and breathe smoke in his face to see just how well he would take it.”I am a guest and allowed to roam as I please…I think that is all you need to know,” she uttered taking the pipe from her lips for only a mere few seconds before placing it back into her mouth. All the while as she spoke the same pinkish vapors just seemed to creep from her lips with no end in sight. With a bit more pestering she fully reveal who she was but for now the game was on and it was his move.

The knights response to her rudeness was not quite as she expected it was coy as if he hope to gain some thing by not reacting as he should have. Though the situation confused her it would not deter her rather cheeky attitude toward him. His cold dark demeanor from just a few seconds ago would likely shape a majority of their relationship. Ranni was not one to neither forgive nor forget, so it was quite common for people stay on her bad side for years after the original transgression. Inhaling deeply the witch gave the knight one more look up and down he had caught the hint she was going to be working with him far more closely in the future she was basically going to be his back up for lack of better words. Her particular skills were slightly uncommon and this is why her talents were requested. Seething from her maw was yet again the pink mist it’s breezy summer floral sent filled the air of the dark stagnant corridor which they resided in. From hearing his response to her rather venomous comments she was sure either he was slightly daft at the moment or he did not know she was preying upon him either way it was a victory however small for the witch. Enraptured in the fog the witch shifted and swayed until she placed her hand upon the knight’s upper arm. Through the fog only the deep forest emerald gleam of her eyes could be seen.
Though it seemed he wanted to leave it was clear this was not what she wanted Filling the tiny corridor with pinkish haze she seemed to separate the two from the rest of the castle. In the thick plume of gasses she thought to herself about a question she would have to ask since she knew they would likely be working together. “I have never been a royal guard…but you are….this brings me to a small question just between the two of us…” the scent of the smog was relaxing and beautifully colored almost as if were meant to hide a more menacing idea locked deep with the moral folds of the mind. Pausing for but a second she let the gas leak from the sides of her now up turning mouth corners.”Would you knight die for your king and your queen…I mean it’s almost like a prerequisite to the job right,” as she asked her tone seemed to deadline at a point where emotion left out and only the cold harsh reality of one’s own mortality could be sensed. It was her desire to dishearten the seemingly stead fast knight, for sowing seeds of dissent now would allow for far more plentiful harvest when black day of choice arrived. With vile deeds in heart and contention permeating her very souls she found great joy in shaking the waiver in their morals. She knew that right now the knight would likely think nothing of her question and give her the noble righteous answer but in time he would slink down to the level of the common man. No mans honor was worth his life in the final moments, in their hand they held their troubles and in their hearts the locked way fear which could tear at the fabric of every choice.
“You know…never mind me it’s just a woman’s talk you likely have other things more pressing than my inquiries I am sure of that,” letting each word slither from her lips she watched and listened deeply for any and every sign of emotion and or response. All of her actions were meant to draw out a certain reaction sweet powerful satisfaction loomed on his lips all he had to do was give her the response she wanted. Satisfaction looming just over the horizon the witch’s breath was left at a pause and her eyes widened in anticipation. A demon of the mist she did not remove her lithe and gold adorned hand from the violet knights arm, he would be allowed to leave her only when she succeeded in getting a rise out of the knight. The uptight and pensive always seemed just give their emotions out on their selves and so in the years since her youth she had began to take an almost masochistic pleasure in seeing that spark in the eye and that quick but audible raising of the voice.

Dea looked at her and sighed as he went over to her and place his hands on top of her as he looked at then smiled. Your not the first to try and get me mad or something elas. so better luck next time He said as he let her go and started to walk his own way.
And to answer you about everything yes i will die for the queen but not for the king. He said as he walked away going back to his room witch was down all the way on the other side of the castle. Dea didn't care about the king to much. the king wanted him dead but if the queen didn't stop him Dea would not be standing there as he finally made it to his room.

Her pestering her prodding and her rather persistent attitude did all that it had to do, he had given himself away. She sought o liberate the knights true disposition and so she had, the knight had revealed how he felt about the royalty it was a detail she would not forget for it would likely come in handy much ,much later. Letting his arm slide from his grip she let the knight go royal guards were going to be far more interesting than she had planned. Manipulations would be easy if given enough time, living for close to one thousand years gave her insight upon the deep and dank secrets of the human heart. With enough wrenching even the most powerful and sun blessed could be turned from the narrow road. Placing her hand upon the wall the witch let her weight fall upon it, she was filled with an enthusiasm unmatched by even the most immaculate choir. With a tune in her chest she let a few more puffs of her pink thick and viscous vapor seep from her mouth before she slowly drifted back and away from the direction the knight had walked. A rather grandiose smile crept across her face as she pace back into the thicket of fog. As she drifted back her face faded into the rose colored haze, in time her honey hair faded and she was gone from view. This was the case with all of her features all except for her brilliantly white slightly jarring smile. With delicate and intentionality it appeared her teeth were constructed with indomitable beauty in mind. A white smile and as always her emerald eyes seemed to peer through the dimly lit scene until nothing more could be seen.
Returning unto the black her figure drifted until she met the edge of the large oval windows which seemed slightly drowned by out the rather insidiously unvarying dark brick patterns of the walls. Grabbing the ledge the blonde allowed her gaze to fall from the hall and the direction her knew comrade had walked in. With a victorious snicker the witch took hold of the smoking end of her oak wood gold tipped pipe. Sweeping hay colored hair from her thin but distinctly felinely rounded visage she let the suns final cry unto the sky pass before looking out to a dying twilight sky. It was intern this site witch stirred the dead heart within her chest. Like the last gasps of the sun stuck between the day and the night, she too was between two places. Life and death had become to facts defining existence which no longer applied to her. Though slightly somber the witch had no time to mope and contemplate the finer specifics of her own damned subsistence. Turning away from the darkening sky’s with a sneer as drab as the sky’s over arching blackness. Letting deep mahogany finger tips gently glide along the wall she memorized more and more of the gray castle for she would have to in the coming future. Just before turning the corner which would spate her and the knight by a whole corridor the youthful looking guest uttered a few simple words.”…The most tranquil days provoke…the most forcible and impetuous storms…I will see your demons…well have them,” after mouthing this phrase to herself the witch was gone from sight and gone from the mind. She would use what he had said to her advantage but it was not enough at just that she had to see him squirm in anger before that or else she would not be satisfied.

Upon receiving her promotion the witch was filled with a sense of accomplishment for she had only preformed at about half of her true potential and was given a key to the castle and the ear of the royalty. She was seen as young and sometimes impulsive but she had always been dependable. Having feigned the noble name of Enkosh, brought about some favor in the ranks of the military for noble children were always treated differently. With the death of the queen and the appointment of the new king she was given rank even faster than even she had predicted. There was much to be done in an even short amount of time. Though the kingdom mourned the loss of their queen Ran’chir was not for the water works she would not pretend that she held love in her heart for any of the royalty. She was a subject and thus was susceptible to every beck and call of the nobility but this was neither from admiration nor love for the line of succession. Called from her chambers one early morn the witch emerged glaring at the beams of honey colored light which filled the castle just before the hustle and bustle of the rush of servants. With nothing but spite on her mind and disdain upon her lips the blonde place one hand upon the wall and one upon her stomach. Letting her weight rest upon the wall the crimson clad youth felt with her the restless dead call out. Though this was the norm it was none the less painful when she was not given the proper time to prepare herself.
With all the feminine beauty of a stuck pig she slouched as she made her way down the hall it had appeared as if maybe some one important wanted something important that or someone was playing a prank on the new body guard. Though her many charms and bright golden chains jingled cheerfully as she walked she did not hold their blithesome tone. Draped in crimson robes trailing far behind her and trimmed with white tuffs of animal fur she looked almost regal in her excursion. Having been the dictator of her own island she was not use to early wake up calls and messages from those whom could command her. Giving the ends of her sash a tug pulled the robes tighter to her body. With a look of absolute dread upon her visage she rounded a corner and met with a rather large room she had not been in before. Likely it twas a room for conference and or meetings. Now reassured that she had been called for purposes other than jesting and pestering, the blonde wished she had taken the time to throw on something more official than her night robes. “This appears to be going well…roused from sleep and stand before this one,” she said as her eyes met the frame of the all to familiar knight she had interacted with not so long ago. He had gotten to the room before her and he was just a shaken by the queen’s death as the rest of the castle. The room they stood with bore the coat of arms for the kingdom and it’s royal colors, much to the dismay of the sorceress. Upon noticing the intricately woven articles around the room the sorceress knew that something would likely be said, and it would likely be of fair importance.
Pulling her robes closed a bit more the witch stood at attention. Standing a bit flustered the blonde attempted to attend to her looks before whom ever came to speak entered the room. Brushing her thick long blonde locks out from in front of her face, it was pretty clear she had skipped brushing that morning. Though the sun crept into the room it hung around the edges like an uninvited guest. It was unpleasant to be forced to stand before the morning light but she would grin and bare it until the two royal knights were dismissed if they were dismissed.
