The Royal System
In Kaharini, the Royal system in far from normal. There is indeed a King, Queen, Prince, and Princess, but they do not have to all be relater. There is the possibility of having a few related to each other, but at most times it is not likely.
King - This person is chosen once the king has died by the queen, if she is still alive. If not, they are to be elected by the entire kingdom, the prince most defiantly is the next on the list, seeing the experience, but often they do not become the king. To be the King, means that you rule everyone. You are the highest on the authority list, and even have power over other Royalty.
Queen - The Queen is there for the help to the King, and takes care of some of the Kingdom’s paperwork. This one is aquatinted by the King, and only by the King.
Princess - Pretty much just a pretty face that helps make decisions, chosen by the kingdom, or is born into the job.
Prince - This character makes most of the decisions, and some war decisions under the King’s supervision. He is elected by ether the kingdom, born into the position, or chosen by the higher authority.
