Rastal... I'll hunt you down to the ends of existence. Thought Geo as he moved across the currently windy plains, His white scarf and long black coat making a stark contrast as they were tugged by the wind. His hair like a flowing golden river, a static discharge crackled around him as he paused on a small hill and looked back the way he came.
He had to admit that despite the seething anger he contained, he couldn't help but feel a pleasant surge run through him as the sight of the grass wavering like water. He gave a sigh and tried to let himself relax a little bit. He was still furious about the event which had left him so maimed, but he couldn't let himself be blinded to the good things. He didn't set out to do something like this. He wasn't even sure if he wanted revenge, or if he wanted to simply know why Rastal felt he hadn't been someone to kill at that time. He just knew he had to find him.
Turning on his heel he started resuming his walk to the capital of Kaharini, he figured he could find some good information about his quarry, or at least get himself financially set to track the man down before he headed out in earnest. It's pretty out here, but rather lonely. At least it's just windy and not unpleasantly warm or the like. He thought. Geo wasn't really a solitary person, though after he had left home, that's how it had been lately.

Golden locks were brushed behind Genira's ear as she stroked her hair back. Her brunette strands were tied back into a tight pony tail, with a black ribbon holding her silky smooth locks up. A laced maid's outfit had been pulled over the girl's thin body, fitting snugly against her skin. it was uncomfortable, but in the palace, it was mandatory to wear. Small black shoes, white socks, a white apron tied around her waist, and a dress, laced up with black ribbon in the back. The girl's pale skin nearly blended in with the white, and stood out strongly against the black of her outfit. Finally, after a long day of hard work, and indecent exposure of her own body, in which she hated, the girl was able to pull on her long cape, covering her clothing, and to tie on her fox's mask. It was a white porcelain, with red and black designs that weaved around with a hand's painted strokes.
The girl's slim fingers pulled up her black hood, covering the two ears that lightly rest upon the girl's head. They lye back, to make one think that they would have never existed. Being sure that her cape was tightly tied onto her, the girl made her escape from the palace, knowing she would have to return the following day or so. Light purple eyes gazed out of two eye holes, scanning the streets. So many people were there, and Genira wouldn't dare let one of them know where she worked. It was embarrassing to let her potions customers know that when she was not selling potions, that she was cleaning a King's room. Genira hadn't seen the King himself quite yet, but rather the prince. He was a charming one, but she tended to avoid men that resembled royalty.
Slipping out of the city limits, Genira swiftly bounced onward, headed to pick up a few items, that she could pick up at any point it time. It was just that she wanted to get a few more herbs. Did she have plenty? Well, yes. She did. But extra was nice. Her light step shifted through the golden grass, her cape blown to hide her outfit from all others due to it being at her back, and her eyes being shifted to the ground, she didn't bother to watch who was ahead.
A small hum arose in the air, like a melody in one's heart. So soft, and innocent her voice was. Yet the mask that covered her delicate features, it was obviously there to show that there was something to be said. The sharp features, the perfectly painted lines, they were all obviously well planned, and fierce. Yet beneath lye a beautiful girl's face, many times saints had wondered if she were an angel. Although she wasn't even related to an angel, the girl just smiled, and nodded whenever she was complimented. Usually, she would blush, but other times, she just looked down, and nodded.
Grasping onto her cape, so it would not open, Genira began to walk backwards, gazing over the landscape she had travailed over. Such a curious one she was, always wanting to know more, or looked over things when they were at their full beauty. At the point, rippling grass features was what she was studying. Her step was still silent, but Genira hadn't looked over her shoulder for a while at that point, and she backed strait into the other traveler. Jumping, the girl quickly turned around, and stared to the man. "I am so sorry!" The girl's right hand lifted through the cape, showing only a small portion her outfit beneath, but not enough to recognize what it was, and covered her lips quickly. "Did I hurt you? I am sorry!"

Geo was apparently far too lost in thought for his own good. Otherwise the girl would have never bumped into him. He would have been too aware of his surroundings to let that slip by him. A valuable lesson of the matter of not letting one's anger override their other senses. Had she wished to, she could have killed him right then and there, and Geo would have died while accomplishing nothing.
Still he pivoted on one foot and pushed off, gaining distance while his left hand flew to the handle of his sword, gripping the handle as he landed a few feet away in a slight crouch. He had reacted from reflex alone, not any real hostility. And when the young woman apologized (he doubted it was a male with that voice) he released the handle and stood strait giving a shake of his head.
"Not at all. I was just lost in thought so you startled me. No harm done." He said as he took a few steps toward her and clenched his left fist, bringing his arm up so his fist touched the right side of his chest and he bowed his head foreword. "Geo Kalinar Rashitan at your service." He said before looking back up and dropping his arm back to his side, formally but not rigidly. He was brought up as a warrior as well as a gentleman. He had to admit that it was nice to run into someone else. he had been on his own for the last week of travel, and he was somewhat social. Being alone was one of the things he hated the most.

"Not at all. I was just lost in thought so you startled me. No harm done." The girl tilted her head, and lightly nodded. Her blond hair lightly bounced, as the brunette in the back stay hidden from view beneath the hood. Looking up, the girl smiled, crossed her arms. "I really didn't mean to, you see I was walking backwards and dazing out again..." Biting her lip, the girl nodded, and grasped her cape. Yes, she did love to ramble, but in the past few months had been far to tired to really think of much. So she kept the sentences short, and simple. Yet, now that she had plenty of sleep, and was bored out of her wits, Genira was the worst combination you could catch her in. Well rested, and hyper.
"Geo Kalinar Rashitan at your service." His bow was quick, and elegant. Obviously, he was a gentleman, and Genira could only show respect. "Oh!" She quickly exclaimed while bowing elegantly, lifting away her cape lightly as a show of respect, rather than a dress. "I'm Genira, it's a pleasure." Standing back up, and pulling her cape together once more, Genira smiled up to the man with her bright purple eyes, and brushed her hair to the side. "What are you doing out here?" the question was quickly worded, but nicely said.

Locking his gaze on the eyes under her mask. Geo pointed toward the capital. "I'm heading to the capital of Kaharini." He said in response to her inquiry as he let his arm drop back down to his side. He wasn't in the mood to really go into why he was heading there, but he saw no harm in telling her his current destination.
"Perhaps you could help me. I am in need of an inn. Would you know of a good one to stay in for an intermediate duration?" he asked. He hoped this girl knew the capital well enough to tell him so he would have some knowledge of where to go upon his arrival. There were few things more dangerous than making it clear you didn't know where you were when in a town of any type.

"I'm heading to the capital of Kaharini." Genira's ears perked slightly under her hood, causing to small marks to rise. Well, obviously she wasn't going in for extra herbs today, but she may be able to help one out. The girl was well acquainted with the large city. She knew a good handful of the shop keepers, quite a few of the villager, some of the people who came to visit the city on vacations, and now she knew all of the Royal staff. In a few days, the girl was to learn of the actual royal family, by meeting the prince that is. The rest, well, they had a terrible accident, causing the whole Kingdom to be set back, all until their next amount of royalty were to be found.
"Perhaps you could help me. I am in need of an inn. Would you know of a good one to stay in for an intermediate duration?" Interesting question. At that point of the year, people were filling the inns, due to the several meetings with Royalty, or just to come and sell their goods for a well deserved payment. Lifting her hand up to touch just over hr mouth, Genira's hand was stopped by her mask. A light gasp, and the girl quickly pulled it off. "Sorry about having my mask on, that was probably a strange introduction from me." Lifting her mask from in front of her face, the girl tucked it into her cape, and pulled down her hood with a slight laugh. "You see, it's a... habit... But anyway! Back to the question at hand!"
Peering over her shoulder to the walls over her shoulder, Genira shook her head. "There arn't going to be and inns open this time of year, but I do know of a place you could stay," As a habit, Genira lightly grabbed his hand, and began to bounce off towards the city. "You could stay where I work! It's where I stay." The girl's bright eyes traced along the castle walls, and locked onto the simplest place to get up, just in case he was no good at climbing. "Want me to bring you there?"
The girl paused, and looked over her shoulder. The girl's blonde hair mingled with the brunette where the two came together, causing a slight golden brown appearance. Her pale tan skin was lightly brushed over with the sun's rays, causing a slight glow. Her peach lips were curved into a light smile, and her eyes seeming to smile as well. Everything about her was filled with how joyful she was, always happy about something. Yet, all she was doing was awaiting a single answer from the man she had just met, something not many in the Kingdom did. Usually, they just vanished into oblivion with a roll of the eyes, making it so one never got their answer.

Geo didn't fail to notice the two points of Genira's hood rise a little, but it was breezy out, and he figured it might be the wind. Then She pulled her mask off and and tucked it away before pulling the hood down. Geo was mesmerized for the briefest of moments. He clearly liked what he saw. "Don't worry about that." He said in response to her comment about the mask. Seeing she wasn't human, he knew some other races hid away what they were to most people. he decided not to pry into the matter. She had her reasons and he would respect that.
Then she explained the state of the Inns at this time of the year. He was disappointed to hear that, but then Genira mentioned that he could stay where she worked at. Then grabbing his hand she led him toward the city. Geo decided to move along with her and then stopped looking back at him, clearly awaiting his answer.
With the look she had on her face, Geo found it difficult to refuse the offer. He needed a place to stay, and Genira seemed perfectly willing to help him out. He didn't sense any deception from Genira, and he didn't have any reason to distrust her. He would simply be wary, but grateful for the time being. It didn't pay to be paranoid.
He gave a smile. "Well lead the way." He said as he looked to the city, wondering where it was that this interesting young woman would be leading him. She clearly didn't have to contemplate the fact she was bringing a total stranger into a place where he could cause her some trouble if he wanted to. Though he was willing to put a little faith in her, and she seemed willing to do the same.
A small static discharge emitted from him and he quickly pulled his hand free, not wanting to shock Genira. it wouldn't have been harmful, but it could be unpleasant. Particularly when it was unexpected. "Sorry about that." He said, not wanting her to think that he had been trying to be offensive. He still hadn't gotten to suppressing that aspect of his race's features. It took a lot longer for his race to keep this discharges from arching out from themselves involuntarily.

"Don't worry about that." The girl nodded, and began to lead the two's way through the field. Her step was light, and quick. It could have been the slight fox nature put into her from the sign of birth, or just the habit. Nothing more. Not realizing it, the girl had grabbed up his hand, and bounced along, only stopping for a moment to get his answer. She turned her head, and pulled down the hood, letting her ears perk up so that she could hear the man. The ears, they seemed to fit her to some sort. The soft features of her face, it was complimented by the bold statement of her ears.
The man gave her a smile, and then spoke. "Well lead the way." A light, quick nod, and Genira continued on. Her cape stay sung around the girl as she walked on, her left hand holding it together in the front. To tell the truth, it was embarrassing for her to be seen in s dress. The girl always wore pants and a shirt, but to work in the palace, especially when you were new to the job, you had to wear the uniform. There were rules, regulations, all of those things that you would expect through such a work place. Yet, it was always nice to be in. Comforting, to a sort, to know what to expect if you did something you were not supposed to.
Suddenly, the girl felt the light amount of shock grow within the man, and Geo pull his hand away quickly. "Sorry about that." He simply said while l looking to the girl. "No, your good. I know how it is to control... electricity I want to say?" She wasn't to good at the magic practice of this, yet, the girl had learned to keep the shock. Her main problem was the ice magic she held. It was complicated, that was for sure. But usually, she was perfectly fine. The occasional chill given to a warm hand, but nothing more.
A light smile, and Genira motioned toward the wall. "You can climb right?" the girl quickly climbed up the wall, and sat at the top. She didn't know if she would have to help him up, or what, so the girl awaited Geo to climb the huge wall that surrounded the city, only letting the top of the castle be seen. A light tilt of the head, and Genira looked down to the man. He sure was a different one, and a set personality, a set ora that was completely different from all others.

Geo gave a slight shrug. "It's a feature of my race. Every bit as part of me as the color of my eyes." He said with another shrug. Watching Genira climb after she asked if he did so as well, he took note of her movements and which hand and foot holds she used when she was at the top she looked back down at him. "Yeah I climb well enough without my armor." He said before starting his ascent.
He didn't climb nearly as quickly as Genira, but his motions were still smooth and he was up to the top quickly enough. Jumping down wouldn't be an issue. If fact he could have gotten to the other side before Genira could have noticed, but he wasn't a show off.
Looking over the city he let out a low whistle. "Well that is certainly impressive. I don't often get to see a sight like this." He said with a small glint in his eyes. Geo didn't often see a sight that impressed him as this did. He looked back and gave a smile smile to Genira, it was rather difficult to not at least smile around her. "So where is it that you work?" He asked.

"It's a feature of my race. Every bit as part of me as the color of my eyes." Genira offered a light nod, and smiled. "I'm the only one in my race with my eye colour that is alive right now. I know of few others, and they all became the moon goddesses." the girl shrugged, not thinking any more on the subject. She would live a few thousand more years before she got her full answer, so this was no problem. Lightly bouncing to the wall's side, Genira asked if he climbed, and scaled the wall as if it were just as simple as walking. To her, it was. She had found every hole in the wall to help her up, even on the most flat of the parts.
the girl could feel Geo's eyes on her as she went up, and turned to sit down. "Yeah I climb well enough without my armor." He mentioned before beginning to climb the wall, not nearly as quickly as Genira had. Very few could climb as quickly as the girl could, it was something that only she was able to do. Brushing her hair back, and offering a hand to help him up to a standing position on the wall, Genira swung her legs over onto the guard's pathway, and stood. She watched as the man pulled himself over the small lip, and came to look over the city.
A small, low whistle, and he spoke. "Well that is certainly impressive. I don't often get to see a sight like this." Well, the sight was why she always came on this route. That, and people often were nowhere to be found on the walls other than near the palace. "That's why I love to come this way. You find something new every time." Letting a light sigh out as she rest her right hand on her hip, bumping out the cape enough to show that she was indeed doing so, and Genira took in the city. Bustling people, rushing to finish for the day. Voices echoed through the air, only making a slight impression to one who was sitting so far up. It was somewhat comforting to the girl.
"So where is it that you work?" "Hm?" Her gaze quickly shifted to the man, registering his words. "Oh! I'll show you. Come along." Genira quickly began to bounce off to the left, following the wall's trail. She wasn't going to go through the city if you had such an easy route. Usually, it was illegal for one to walk along the walls, especially towards the palace, but she had 'special' permission. The girl's shoe lightly clicked against the stone trail, due to her lack of attention.
Some of the guards came into sight, but the girl just smiled and waved. To one who would observe it, this would most definitely be extremely strange to see a guard wave back, rather than raise their bow and arrow. "Hi Rafiel!" She eventually got to saying after the girl wrapped her arms around the man in a large hug. The guard, completely decked out in armor, offered a small hug back, and spoke. "Hey kid. Who's yer' new friend?"[/color] The man looked Geo up and down, studying ever aspect. "This is Geo, he's going to stay in one of the extra rooms. Geo, this is Rafiel, he's like my big brother."
The two brought a small conversation, that eventually ended with Genira bouncing on past the guards. A light jump off of the wall, with a perfect landing on palace gardens, and Genira motioned for Geo to follow. It was obvious by now that she worked there, seeing how the girl pulled off her cape reveling the uniform. Looking up to the wall, Genira awaited the man to follow, not even thinking twice about the fact he may be nervous about staying in the palace, or shocked that she worked there.

Following Genira. Geo couldn't help but look around here and there. She obviously had found a goo route for those who enjoyed seeing the comings and goings of a place like this. Geo didn't fail to notice Genira seemed more inclined to show him where she worked rather than tell him. He was game for the time being.
It was when they approached the palace that Geo rose and eyebrow. Now what are the odds? He thought as Genira waved at the guards, who seemed to respond in kind. It was when Genira hugged the man and was hugged in return that it was confirmed. Well this should prove fairly interesting. He thought as Genira introduced them. Geo brought his fist up to his chest, and gave his bow with his head, the same salute he had greeted Genira with.
Following Genira, he noticed she had decided to doff her cape, and revealed her uniform. "Not to sound discourteous, but exactly what position are you in to be offering me a place here? To do such would clearly indicate that you have a certain amount of authority in this place." He said, wondering just what kind of person he had run across.

the man had followed her, and watched as she greeted one of the guards. The man offered a bow, and followed her as she jumped down off of the wall. Pulling off her cape, revealing her maid's outfit, Genira flicked her hair over her shoulder, parting the blonde from brunette, and placed a strand of black ribbon between her lips. Pulling it back, and and running her fingers through her hair a few times, smoothing it all the way to the high point that she was holding it with her right hand. Pulling the ribbon from her lips, and tying her hair up, Genira quickly shook her head, and straitened her bangs. The girl didn't want to be caught with her hair down in the palace, it was something that her boss hated to see.
"Not to sound discourteous, but exactly what position are you in to be offering me a place here? To do such would clearly indicate that you have a certain amount of authority in this place." Looking to Geo, the girl nodded. "I am a maid and part time nanny for the kids that are to stay here. I just got the job, and so ya. I haven't done much yet, but my boss said that I can let someone stay here if I want to." Motioning for him to follow, the girl straitened her posture, took a deep breath, and formally walked into the palace. Her chin was held high, and a smile stay spread across her lips as the girl looked around.
Turning a few corners, walking down a few halls, and the girl quickly opened one of the doors, tossed her cape in onto the bed, and closed the door. She quickly walked on, and opened one of the door further down the hall. Motioning into the room, Genira looked over her shoulder to Geo. "You can stay here."

Geo gave a nod in response to Genira's answer. It made sense, though he was pretty sure that offer had been more intended for a relative or spouse, but he figured this wouldn't really be a problem as long as he didn't cause trouble.
Living in the castle. If this actually works out I have the feeling things are going to start going pretty well for me. I might also hear something of that bastard Rastal. He thought, another crackling discharge arching off of him.
Genira tossed her cape in a room and led him a little further along before opening another door and gesturing for him to go inside. Giving a small smile and a nod, he walked in, wondering what his room would look like.

The room was large, and painted a light gray. The walls were smooth, and obviously professionally done seeing how well painted they were for the age. The floors were a deep cherry red, wood of course, and only part of it was covered by the rug that ran under the king sized bed. A deep red comforter spread across the bed, perfectly smoothed so there were no creases, and bumped up where the pillows were veiled under the soft fabric. The frame was cherry wood, with designs carefully carved unto it of leaves, and a lion symbol in a shield. The windows framed by a red curtain, pulled to the side by strands of ribbon, making it easy to close them with the simple tug of two strings. A walk in closet was located to the left, the door only slightly cracked open. To the right, there was several chairs, a table, and a book shelf, all accompanied with the desk that sat in the far corner.
"Will this be suiting enough, Geo?" Genira had lightly followed him into the room, and stood next to the door. Her eyes studied the man's face, while she herself continued to smile. The girl's ears were perked, and her hands lightly folded behind her back. the ribbon in her hair lightly touched her back, as did the long stands of deep brunette that lightly curved outwards, as a natural flip of her hair. A silver charm lean into the center of Genira's collar bone, the metal curved into the form of a sitting fox. Every one of her kind had the necklace that resembled their animal, with it, showed who they were.
Genira lightly ran her fingers through the long strands of blond hair that framed her face, and shook her head. The outfit was not at all comfortable. Something that her boss made all of the maids wear. Letting out a soft sigh, the girl returned her hands to fold behind her back, and blinked a few times, attempting to wake herself up. She had gotten plenty of sleep the night before, but something about that day made her exhausted.
((We should get Cana in this thread. the prince, the worrier, and the maid. lol wonder how that would result. xD What do you say?))

Geo's eyes went wide for the briefest of moments before he simply started looking around the room. Even the monarch of his home didn't have these furnishings. The quality of life back home had been very pleasant, but this was something else. "I'm at a loss." he said in reply. Suiting enough!? Was she kidding. Geo hadn't ever stepped into a room like this.
His eyes traveled back to his hostess. She was interesting. Just allowing him an accommodation like this. Several warning bells in his mind went off. He was still giving Genira the benefit of a doubt, he had the feeling she really was wanting to help him, but this was something he didn't expect. He had been figuring a warm stable or an extra room, not a room in the castle itself.
As for Genira, he was once more captivated by her. It wasn't anything in particular. Just a combination of traits that he found appealing both in her personality and how he found her rather pleasant on the eyes.
"Genira. I'm not exactly sure how to thank you. I am not used to such accommodations." He said, wondering what he was going to even do with this room. Geo had grown used to simply having a nice warm place to sleep be a luxury. This was an oasis in the desert as far as he was concerned.
OOC: Sounds fine to me
