Mythica is a rather general category for any species which is entirely created through magic by natural means. Elves don’t fall into this category since they are of magic and flesh. Where as a Mythica’s form and existence is sustained through magic. An important distinction a Mythica and any other magical creature is the inability to breed. Appearance: Zell is most often seen wearing a traditional magician’s outfit. He even has a top hat which can be usually found on him somewhere. The outfit is basically a black tuxedo with a white shirt underneath and a black bowtie. Over that is an open gray cloak without a hood.
Zell’s body, if for some reason he isn’t wearing clothes, is toned but not very masculine. An important fact about Zell is that his appearance isn’t absolute. He may change his clothing and very body anyway he pleases since it’s really just a mass of magic with a personality.
…The Me You Want To Know…
Personality: Zell tries to be a mysterious bastard and pulls it off sometimes. Other times he will make things simple for those who can’t fathom whatever game he’s playing. Being a Mythica leaves him disconnected from the world. Things that usually matter to a resident of the world can be meaningless to him. Yet he’s not entirely unfazed by the happenings around him. He finds pleasure in making children laugh. If he sees someone having a hard time or trouble coming to those who are innocent, he may feel compelled to help in someway. Mostly, he plays around all day as he travels around looking for some sort of meaning to his existence. Not that he cares so much, but there’s not a whole lot for a Mythica to do so he gets bored easily.
History: Zell hasn’t been on the scene for long. A product of the times perhaps? Zell first became self aware around two years ago. He found himself standing out in the middle of nowhere naked. It took a little while until he became acclimated to the world. Zell was very much lost in the world. Without a beginning or path for him to follow, he could only emulate those around him. His existence as an individual slowly began to solidify just as a human child’s would over many years.
Nearly a year ago he was wandering through town when he saw a magic show. It wasn’t the king of magic a spell caster would use. Instead it was simple tricks like pulling a rabbit out of an empty hat. He knew it was all fake and the man wasn’t using any sort of magic at all. However the young people around seemed to enjoy it very much. It was a strange sensation when he saw this. In a world slowly descending into darkness, to see so much happiness from something so simple confounded him.
After the show, Zell went off on his own and began to perform these tricks in private. However he was actually performing magic when he did the tricks. After a little practice he found himself performing various tricks where ever he went.
To this day, he still travels aimlessly performing for people and for the most part doing whatever he pleases.
Magic: Zell is a being of magic and an magician at that. As far as spells go, he doesn’t use them very often. However the tricks he performs are magic. There’s no clear definition of the difference between them other then one is used for combat while the other isn’t.
Other Facts: If you don’t use your head and pick a fight with him. You’ll only be played the fool.
