Sweet Serenity

[Rose]

"Okay we can go now and we better hurry, i was looking for my jacket then i hear a noise and i turn around and it was like it appeared out of nowhere really creepy right?" She was like a young rambling girl, causing kahani to offer a slight smile. It was adorable, he couldn't lie about that. Even the way she had just ran right over to him, like she had seen some spider or something, he found it young... Sweet. A light shrug, and the boy looked down to Leena. "Guess that is kinda strange, ain't it?" With that, the boy looked up, and over Leena's head to something he saw glint in the sun. An arrow.

"Watch out!" Kahani quickly shoved Leena to the side just as the arrow was released, causing it to stab into the man's arms. Tilting his head, Kahani lifted his hand, causing the intruder to freeze. That look in his eyes, it was obvious how pissed off he was. From a closed fist, to an open palm, it was all that was needed to obliterate the man. Fool the boy once, shame on you. But fool kahani twice? Shame on the boy. A few of the trees surrounding the intruder were splattered with blood, and the occasional bone lye here and there. It was all that was left after he used a bit of his magic.

[Jinx]

She looked at the smile he gave her why was he smileing about that? the smile was just like one of those smiles that made other people smile when they saw it or at least it made her smile and giggle a little. "What?" she let out a small laugh.

"Guess that is kinda strange, ain't it?" She nodded ,just little a lot creepy. she smiled but she wanted to know what he was thinking."Watch out!" She was about to turn around but then she was shoved. sure the landing hurt but when she looked back and saw the arrow that had purged itself into his arm she knew that hurt more but she saw the look in his eyes that would strike fear into the hearts of many. She saw the man pretty much explode and she knew that must have hurt the most. It looked like it had rained blood but only in that one little spot. She looked at Kahani "Wow that guy really didn't like you" That was her very sad attmept at being funny.

Then she realized something he saved her life! HE SAVED HER LIFE?!?!!?! how could he do such a thing that was stupid. She glared at him the glare should have told him why she was glaring. But after a minute of glareing a smile almost couldn't help but appear on her lips. She liked him almost more then dieing now. she turn her face away from him hoping she would not she her smile but she knew he was pissed now that thought made her smile disappear and she looked back at him but with a sad concerned look.

[Rose]

"What?" His smile, it was one that made other do just that. Why? Well, probably because it was young, sweet, and slightly crooked. Not to mention the smile had appeared out of nowhere. He actually looked... happy. Not just that fake happy in which the boy had trained his face to do, but that real live happy, the one that was rare to see. Why? Well, not even Kahani knew that one. Brushing his hair back, making the locks have that settle slicked back look, the boy simply spoke, quietly before noticing the man, and destroying him.

"Wow that guy really didn't like you" Kahani lightly flicked his hand, causing all of the blood, and bones, to rise into the air. "Well, that sucks for him." Gathering all of the blood, Kahani quickly orbed it to another location, in which only he, and his master knew of. the blood chamber. It was always to be filled with fresh blood. Some would think that the blood just dries up, or vanishes, but this is not true. If the blood is not used within ten minutes of a killing, it begins to slowly absorb into this chamber, keeping it as fresh as possible for the use of blood benders.

Rolling his eyes, and shaking his hand, the boy looked down to Leena. "You a'right?" As he spoke, Kahani pulled the arrow from his arm, and healed it quickly before offering his hand to help the girl up. He was a gentleman, and nothing could change that, other than his acting. It was how he was raised, to be polite. Yet his mother hated him? That was always a curious fact. Never, would Kahani understand that woman. Why? Because she was possibly even more screwed up than he was.

[Jinx]

"Well, that sucks for him." She let out a small laugh "Remind me not to get on your bad side" Then she thought for a second "I take that back, how may i get on your bad side?" A smile appeared on her lips again it almost looked like a joking one. But it still had that hint of serious. she sat on the ground with both her arms behind her holding her up.

"You a'right?" Psh was she alright, yes that was the problem. Only if she would have landed on the sword, she sighed she could only dream. "Yes, unfortunately" But even when she said it she had a smile on her face why now it was like she could not stop smiling every time she looked at him. She took his hand that he offered and stood up. She brushed herself off and then bent down and picked up the sword and her sweatshirt she had dropped when she was pushed.

It was like death was just a joke now. did she still want to die? yes she did but now she wanted something else she thought she could never have. Kahani

[Rose]

"Remind me not to get on your bad side." Kahani offered a sly smile, and nodded. But after a few moments, the girl changed her answer. "I take that back, how may i get on your bad side?" The girl was giving the hint of a joking smile as she stared up to him. "I don't think you could, leena." Shaking his head, the boy offered his hand to help her up, although she was comfortably leaning back. With his left hand hooked in his pocket, Kahani helped pull the girl up, leaning slightly back to give him an extra help, although she was like a feather.

"Yes, unfortunately" Hah! So she still wanted to die? Kahani gave her that disapproving smile, and then motioned towards the forest, to let Leena lead. It would be different, following someone not just to kill them, but rather to just tag along.

[Jinx]

"I don't think you could, leena." she gave him a little smile "awwww why not?" She wanted to make sure he liked her before she would say any of her feeling although she was pretty sure that he knew.She stared in to his eyes before quickly looking away.

She saw his disapproving smile. Ugh what was he going to do act like her father now. Psh well like it or not she had the sword, he broke her knife and then she got something bigger and sharper that thought brought a devilish smile to her face. But her smile disappeared when he motioned for her to go in front. She gave him a curious look. "mmm why don't you go first?" She was a little nervous to go first the least he could do was at least walk beside her. But why was he being so nice to her, before he barely noticed her being there and now it was like they were some sort of equals? this was weird.

[Rose]

"awwww why not?" A light shrug, and the boy turned around, shoving his hands deeply into his pockets. "Duno. Just can't." Peering over his shoulder once more, the boy watched as she gave a devilish smile. A new toy to play with? Well, that would be amusing to watch her use. It was half her size, and almost her weight, if not more. The boy shook his head, and let out a small laugh. Motioning for Leena to go on before him, Kahani let out a small sigh. He needed a break from wandering aimlessly, so he would rather follow the girl wherever she wanted to go at that point.

"mmm why don't you go first?" The boy looked over his shoulder, pausing slightly. "Because I am tired of leading, your turn." Turning around, he slightly tilted his head to the right, and laughed. "What, you afraid of me being behind you or somethin'?" Re-adjusting his stance, the boy leaned slightly backwards. He kept his brow raised while looking downwards, just then noticing how short she really was. To him? Well, it was pretty funny. But he wasn't going to mention anything, seeing how that wouldn't exactly be what a gentleman would do.

[Jinx]

"Duno. Just can't." She rolled her eyes. That proved to her he would at least not admit that he like her. She flipped her hair over her shoulder. He motioned for her to go first and she asked him why."Because I am tired of leading, your turn." This was quite strange she had no idea where to go. "What, you afraid of me being behind you or somethin'?" she shrugged she might have been a little scared but not that he might hurt her. She was partly scared of getting lost. She sighed and looked around "I ain't scared of nothing"

She crossed her arms and looked a round a little "I know!" She walked three feet to the east then turn around to face him."Your turn!, unless you just wanted to hang out around here for a little bit?" she gave him a little smile. She wanted to just relax a little but she also wanted to try out her sword, maybe chop up a tree a little bit, or a lot a bit.

[Rose]

"I ain't scared of nothing" Yup. She was afraid of something. not necessarily of him, but rather of something else. Shrugging, Kahani lightly laughed to himself. Little did she know, they were already lost. The boy was able to smell the water, and didn't really know where they were at that point. They had entered a different forest, one that he had accidentally been in so many times. Eventually the boy found his way out, of course not on purpose. Just kinda stumbled across somewhere that he remembered, and later wandered out towards some random direction until he found a trail.

"I know!" the girl took a few steps, turned around, and faced the boy. "Your turn!, unless you just wanted to hang out around here for a little bit?" Shaking his head, the boy sighed. "We can chill here for a bit." Rubbing the back of his neck, Kahani smiled over to the girl. She was the leader, and he wasn't going to let her give that position up. He didn't want it! Pulling off his shirt again, the boy plopped into the water once more, floating on his back, and listening carefully for any other person, the boy just relaxed.

[Jinx]

"We can chill here for a bit." She smiled , that made her happy. She watched as he again took off his shirt and went back in to the water. Well if the boy wasn't going to kill her for a bit might as while have a little fun. She stabbed her new sword in to the rich ground and threw her sweat shirt over it. she then walked over to the water and dived straight in she had a plan but he would probably see it coming. She dived deep then looked up to see where he was. she saw him and swam up. Once she hit the air she jumped on him and pushed him down under the water.

She then flipped her wet hair back and laughed. If she got him or not she didn't care or know she had her eyes closed after she aimed her hands to his chest she closed her eyes, didn't really know why she closed her eyes. But then she opened them after she pushed her hair out of her face hoping she got him.

[Rose]

The boy's back stay submerged in the water as his chest rest dry above the surface. His hair was wet, and the boy's eyes closed. This place was calming, and actually made him feel better. There was something about it, just had that little thing about it. Maybe it was the cool, clear waters? He wouldn't ever know why it was so nice, just was. His jeans were soaked with the cool liquid as the hot sun beat down on him, warming the boy's face. Resting his hands behind his hear, Kahani let out a small sigh as he heard Leena dive into the water, but not come up. He figured that the girl was swimming down to explore things beneath the surface, seeing how she didn't need to breath.

Suddenly, he heard the girl swimming up, and just noticed what she was doing as the girl surfaced. Instantly, he was dunked beneath the surface, and completely submerged beneath the water. Bursting back up, and taking in a gasp of air, Kahani smiled while looking over to Leena. Shoving his hand through his hair, and blinking the water from his eyes, the boy laughed. "Oh now you've done it." Shoving himself forward, the boy tackled Leena back into the water, pulling them both beneath the surface as he held his breath.

[Jinx]

"Oh now you've done it."uh oh But she still laughed as she went under the water. She was really surprised that she had actually got him but she was also surprised that he would attack her back she never would have guessed her would have done that. She still laughed under water, well when she got back to the surface it would hurt a bit cause she was getting so much water in her lungs and when she got to the surface she would have to cough all of it up she hated that feeling. But she didn't care right now she was having fun, she grabbed his shoulders she would hold him under but only for a little while he did still need to breathe.

She had a hold of his shoulders and was looking him in the eye when the voice in the back of her head said 'kiss him', it was her subconscious. She thought about it for a second but then let go of his shoulders and swam to the surface the pain in her chest from the water she inhaled hurt a lot. Once her head hit the air she swam to the shore line then feel upon the shore. she coughed and coughed, but the coughing looked and sounded like she was puking and felt more like it but the water was in her lungs not her stomach. She had one leg outstretched behind her and on the others knee and both of her arms holding her up. some of her hair was in her face but her arms were to busy holding her up to wiped her hair out of her face. The small swim had put a whole lot of water in to her lungs. It was painful to cough the water out, it felt as if it was tearing up hr throat but she knew it wasn't because it was all water nothing but water.

[Rose]

The boy was held beneath the water by his shoulders, Leena's stomach being all he could see. Reaching over to her thighs, Kahani pulled her up, and pushed the girl up. Swimming to the surface, the boy coughed slightly, and smiled as he looked to where she was. Pausing, the boy noticed when she began to swim to the surface. He figured it was from the girl laughing beneath the water, causing her to inhale a lot of water. She probably inhaled to much, making it so the girl actually needed to cough some up.

Following as the girl swam to the shore, and began to cough water up from her lungs, Kahani quickly went to kneel next to her. Placing his hand on Leena's back, he quickly bended the water from her lungs, all to help her breath. Quickly removing his hand, the boy rested his arm on his knee, and tilted his head upside down to look to Leena's face. "You okay there Leena?" Those bright blue silver eyes of his stared into the girl's as he put down his left hand to give him more stability.

[Jinx]

"You okay there Leena?" she flopped over on to her back so she could catch her breath. she looked over to him "Even if you can't drown its not a good idea to cough underwater" she let out a small laugh this wasn't the first time she had found this out. 'I will be okay, thanks"

She pushed her self back up in to a sitting postion. she ran her hands through her hair pushing it back. In trust her throat hurt like she had just coughed up barewire but if there was something that Leena wasn't it was that she wasn't one to complain alot she told life how she saw it, normally back but if someone offered her something it wasn't as if she was going to reject it. Or if she was in pain unless she didn't want to die she would complain. But even for feeling like she cut her throat a lot her voice sounded like normal. she looked at him he was quiet handsome and nice but why? why did he come to make sure she was okay? why could this boy care about her so much. "Why do you like care about me?" her voice was sweet and curious while she asked this she was still serious but she was also really nice.

[Rose]

"Even if you can't drown its not a good idea to cough underwater." The boy let out a small laugh while pushing himself back up into his one-kneed kneeling position. He rest his right arm on his leg, and let the left dangle boy his side as the boy stared forward to Leena. Truthfully, I knew how it felt. So many times had he 'failed' on the water breathing spell, almost killing the boy. But each time he came to the surface in just enough time, and coughed up the water from his lungs. It was just so much worse when the water wasn't as clean as one could hope. Then that got some chunks of dirt, or something unpleasant in your lungs as well. It just hurt to get out, but after a few days they were fine.

"I will be okay, thanks" Offering a small nod, Kahani fell back onto the sand, letting the hot surface warm his back. Resting his head on his hands, the boy let out a small sigh while closing his eyes. He couldn't even so much as fathom why he could have possibly cared so much to have cared about this girl... Or did he? There was a possibility that the boy knew exactly why he cared for Leena. It was what some would call a crush, which Kahani couldn't remember. It was so diffrent, seeing how nothing of that sort had happened for hundreds of years. the boy tended to avoid conversation, because he got to nice. Hurt to many.

"Why do you like care about me?" The boy only opened one of his eye to stare over to Leena. Why? Well, that was the question just passing through him mind. Being kahani, he just had to give an explanation. For everything. "Eh, ya just caught a heart string." Brushing his hair back, the boy closed his eyes once more, and let out a small sigh. He didn't really need to explain to her, it wasn't like he was obliged to say anything. It was just that matter of fact that he liked her somewhat.
