" YahOOOO!" Cana shouted, as he ran down the allies in a full out street race agenst some poor slob. The moonlight was the only things illuminating the back this evening, leading to what could be called a mist effect. The man, a bulky orc of some skill, simply coulden't do more then hurl a couple of barrels at him. Silly fool.
He swung around the corner, taking advatage of another building to do a springboard forward. Then it was just a hop, skip, and jump over the crumbling flagstone to the preapointed finish line.
It took the orc exactly 17 seconds to reach the finish line, just to see Cana yawning and running his talon through the dirt. " I do beleive," he smiled quite happly as he orc struggled for breath. " That you owe my 50 crowns."
Simply nodding, the orc reached into his breachcloth and dropped the small, trianguler tokens that were the curruncy of the realm, each landing with a plesent tinkle. Cana scooped them up swiftly, and with a flourish dropped them into his belt pouch.
"Kindly taken sir, come again!" he laughed as he saushaed off with that silly grin on his face. The moist air, the unmatched sounds, such glory! -------
" Madame I would like to enter this establishment," he still had that same smile painted on his face as he leaned agesnt the wall of the one of the town's seedier establishments; they're were the life is. " 3 crowns," he slipped the coins into her palm as the mildly attractive teifling female opend the doorway. It was a orientail style place, with free flowing gutrot and all your usual dark siders. He swung in, grabbed a stool, and watched events unfold.

A small click of heeled boots echoed in this distance as Rose stormed down the stone path, leading to the downtown location. Her fists stay clenched, and step continue to sustain the same strut she had always used, and the girl's eyes formed a narrowed shape. The girl had a few bones to pick in a nearby bar, styled with the makings of another settlement.
Her breath was silent, calm, and rising her chest slowly up, and down with a light rhythm. Blond hair was tied up with a black ribbon, and the girl's light bangs dangle just in front of her angered eyes. A dark magic flickered upon her fists, creating a dancing black glow. A blank look covered her glossed lips, turning what was usually a cute young girl's face into what showed to be a beautiful young woman, extremely angered by something that had happened as of recent.
Rose quickly made her way to the front of her destination, only to be stopped by the bouncer. Placing an opened palm against her leather covered hip, the girl drummed her fingertips amongst the surface of her thin leg. "What the hell do you mean I can't get in without paying!?" the man brought up a small argument, attempting to convince her to leave, or just let the business owner be. A small cross of the arms, and a cock of her head, Rose glared up to him, a wicked smile curving onto her delicate lips. "I would suggest you move." The man refused. A small shrug, Rose drew back her hand, and thrust it across the man's face, leaving a clear red mark.
Once he had flinched, the girl slipped into the club behind him, and paused at the door. Her presence was strong, the way she held herself showed that the girl thought of herself highly. "Markus!" An angered voice yelled over the crowd. "Where the hell are you!?" Catching sight of the man standing behind the counter, Rose fell silent. Stalking towards the counter, she could see the shock in Markus's eyes. He obviously wasn't expecting her to show up, seeing how the girl was just supposed to accept half of her pay, and be on her way. Rose, she never accepted half of the pay. It was ether the full price, or death.
Jumping up onto the counter, and reaching down to pull the man closer to her, by the throat, Rose crouched down, and tilted her head. "I'm insulted Markus," By that time she had everyone in the room staring at her, only wondering what was happening. She had noticed the prince, who she was only a few feet away from, but it hadn't registered who he was yet in her mind. "You give me a job, and expect to only pay me half?" the girl pulled out two articles of clothing from a jacket that hung loosely around her leather covered torso. "I think these belonged to your men. What you going to do about my payment now? Hm? You owe me 5,000 gold." Angered chocolate eyes glared out from behind blond hair, making the man's breath quiver in fear of what was to come.

This was, mildly entertaining. The whole bar had come to a standstill as this skirt was tossing garmets around. Although he was sure she must be from out of town (after all, the Kingdom used crowns, not gold) and DEFENTLY diden't relieze the concept of "paying"; her arguement with the doorwoman (read my post) was load enough to wake the dead. Then again, Markus was a good man, and had bailed him out of a couple of tight spots. Not to mention, the girl was hot and he was bored.
"Hey, lets keep things civil here K?" he shouted as he stood up, spiting a glob of acid up and back into his mouth for the intimidation factor. " At the current exchange rate," he pulled the crowns out one at a time. "This shout cover it, and more." he placed down the pile in the girl's hand. "And I'd HIGHLY recomend not doing this agian, you're ruining my night out."

((sorry, I just read it real fast. >.<))
The girl was indeed not from town, but rather a different kingdom. she had just moved in, and still with held the ever standing custom of calling the coin gold. Her eyes directed to the man, who now had spoken after she pulled out the men's shirts. Her grip released from Markus's shirt, and the girl stood, still on the counter. Her eyes scanned the man, carefully taking in what she could about him, and instantly looking into the man's eyes. "Hey, lets keep things civil here K?" "Civil? You talk to me, about civil? then that man better damn as well pay me what he owes me!"
Rose's arms folded, and her her expression changed from angered to annoyed. "At the current exchange rate," the man pulled out some of the location's currency, and looked back up to her. "This shout cover it, and more." Rose held out her hand, slightly leaning forward to contain the money. Lifting herself back up, Rose's chocolate eyes scanned over the amount, and instantly finding the currency rate. "And I'd HIGHLY recommend not doing this again, you're ruining my night out."
A look of disbelief glazed Rose's eyes, and her lips curved into a slight smile. "Oh, so now you recommend not doing this again?" The girl dropped the crowns handed to her down to the counter, and she tapped her covered foot upon the counter. "Do you want me dead!? I don't need your crowns, I need what Markus has! I need the amount in gold, not crowns." The girl's hand lightly faced towards the bartender, flickering with a small ora of magic. She was frustrated, and convinced that if she ended this man's life it would be for all the better.

“Gold,” he giggled. “How, quaint. You do realize that no legitimist establishment in town accepts GOLD don’t you? You’re much better off with these, trust me.”
“Not to mention,” with this sentence, he began to feel the inkling of an aura form about his tongue, a hint of what was to come. He willed it, grabbed the fabric of reality with the tendrils of his mind and consolidated it. “I don’t think you want to use any magic here. Your foreign aura will draw any security mages right to this point. Especially,” this he whispered directly in her ear. “Mine. I suggest you ether act like a good little girl, take your allowance, and leave or act like the bad girl and raise the roof. Just do something, I find you interesting.”
And thanks to his magic, she heard it in just the right way to make her react

“Gold,” The man laughed. “How, quaint. You do realize that no legitimist establishment in town accepts GOLD don’t you? You’re much better off with these, trust me.” She wasn't going to buy something, but rather pay off her death sentence in the other kingdom. She was an assassin in learning, tending to make far to many mistakes for her kind. "You think I am going to buy something from one of your pathetic stores? I have everything I need!" Cocking her hip to the left, Rose looked down to the man, feeling the frustration build as she brought back her hand.
“Not to mention,” The man began, inching himself up closer to the girl. “I don’t think you want to use any magic here. Your foreign aura will draw any security mages right to this point. Especially,” By that point he had been whispering into her ear as the girl stood on the counter. “Mine. I suggest you ether act like a good little girl, take your allowance, and leave or act like the bad girl and raise the roof. Just do something, I find you interesting.” Even if he hadn't used his magic, the girl would have reacted. It was her personality.
The girl slammed her palm to push this man away, now insulted by his words. "I don't care if you were king of the world, you don't ever speak to me like that boy! I ain't no little girl!" Pointing her slender finger towards him, and leaning slightly forward, she began to ramble on, of course ignoring the obvious hint that she should shut up. "Your men? What are you some sort of high royalty? Don't even think that you can get away with speaking to me like that without having me talk back!"
Lightly stepping down from the counter, and onto one of the bar stools, Rose continued to go on with her little speech. "What? You rule the earth? I will tell you right here and now boy that there are people that even you should respect. Begin to watch your tongue!" Stepping back up onto the counter and shaking her head, rose stood with her back to the man, rambling on to herself. "Be a good little girl he said, or raise the roof he said. Humph! I will do what I want."

It didn’t work. This woman was obviously not strong enough to push him, and couldn’t even keep up an argument without rambling to herself. Yet, something about her…
By now, most of the patrons had returned to there activities, a bit too tipsy to really care how this was going to end. She said he should respect her, and maybe he would. He just didn’t respect how he was treating his pal was all. She had her money, and Kaharini Crowns were good anywhere in the region. Royalty/ Ha, if only she knew. Now she just stood there, her hindquarters presently within his field of vision, and rambled incessantly. No patience, not patience.
“Well well, who said I didn’t want you to talk back. Makes for a boring conversation, no? And if you have everything you need, why do you need Gold so much? But if the little PRINCESS,” he put some extra effort on the last words. “Needs gold, I can get you some. Just,” he swung himself into a nearby booth. “Loosen up and chill. No use ruining my night out, no? You’ve already done enough of that.”

“Well well, who said I didn’t want you to talk back. Makes for a boring conversation, no? And if you have everything you need, why do you need Gold so much? But if the little PRINCESS,” He put emphasess on the last word, making Rose flinch slightly in annoyance. “Needs gold, I can get you some. Just,” The man swung himself into a nearby booth, slouching slightly and looking up to her. “Loosen up and chill. No use ruining my night out, no? You’ve already done enough of that.” Rose glared over her shoulder, keeping a hostile look held in her eyes. "Demons don't take your freaking currency, and I need GOLD to pay off a death sentence in another kingdom."
Jumping down from the counter, Rose slowly walked over to where the man sat, and leaned against the side of the booth, of course on the opposite side of the table from the man. "I usually don't act like this, but he better damn as well give me the gold." By that time, Markus had already rounded up his gold, and placed it into a bag, tossing it over to Rose. She quickly caught the bag, and nodded. "Wasn't that hard now was it?" Directing her attention back to this man, who she seemed to not be able to push, Rose offered a cocky smile, and shrugged. "have a nice day pretty boy."
For such big talk, she was still to annoyed to be able to think things through. Pulling on a door that was clearly meant for pushing, Rose paused, and stared at the door. Tilting her head, the girl put her foot up against the wall directly to the left of the door, Rose began to push away from the wall, attempting to pull the door opened. She would struggle with this door until it pulled open, not once thinking about how it was to be pushed opened. Rose must have looked like a young, innocent girl, confused by something that stood in her way in the medieval time they all lived in.

Ah, Markus, always a sucker for the crazy approch. It was how they had met, that one day near Kenny Korner, but that was the story of another day. So she was a fugative, hu? Well, that might do some good for diplomacy if he caught her. Pretty Boy? Pretty boys can't dissolve your flesh with a nice lougee. Then, obiously consumed in hatred, she took her gold and walked to the door.
Now, opening doors was a fairly simple concept, but apperently this woman diden't understand such a concept. She just stood there, grunting and yanking, trying to pull the door when it would have offered much less resistance the other way. Many of the patrons turned to her, and faint giggles rose from those few who were still sober. He sighed; coulden't this girl do ANYTHING properly?
"Excuse me mis," he swooped up and tapped her on the shoulder. ' I do beleive this door is ment to go in the opposite direction." He gave it a swift kick, and it swung open, her hands flying off the handle.
"Now, he grasped her arm. " Lets get you calmed down, shall we?"

"Excuse me miss," The boy had said while tapping her shoulder lightly, making Rose jump, and turn around. "I do believe this door is meant to go in the opposite direction." He gave the wooden surface a quick kick, and it flung open. Pausing, Rose glanced between the door, the man, and then the door again.hearing the giggles in the background, Rose flung up her arm, splashing all of the inhabitants with the beer, held in barrels and cups. Directing her attention back to the man, she glared to him, and crossed her arms. "I hate you."
Pushing through the door, Rose began to walk off in the direction of one of the city walls. She felt a warm hand grasp her forearm, and the man's voice instantly following the unwelcome touch. "Lets get you calmed down, shall we?" She began to pull away, pushing on his arm in a failed attempt to get away. "Back off!" she snapped while kicking her covered leg up, and making contact with the man's chin, giving her the chance to pull away. She could easily get any of the man on the street to help her, no matter who they were against. But she was just far to headstrong, and wanted to so everything herself.
"Don't ever touch me!" Tying the bag onto her belt, and standing, ready to dodge, the girl glared forward, lowering her head in a slightly defensive way as black wings appeared from her back. She was a fallen angel, pushed down for the sins she did before her near death experience. Now, she could use her fall to her advantage, from weather it be to make her shine, and help her persuade people, or to help her fight.

Well, this was going to be more intresting then I thought. So feitsty she was, with the beer, then the jaw kick, and now some fancy set of feathers.
Just to keep her down he spat at her wings, the shimmering acid corroding down her feathers and into her nerves. This would keep her grounded for sure.
" Let's not do anything we may regret," he smiled. " Now, can we talk this over like civilized beings? I can be a useful freind. Or a deadly enemy."
(Sorry, diden't have alot to work with.)

((tis fine, I didn't give you much. >.< sorry.))
Rose watched as a red mark from her heel showed up on his lower chin, marking the spot with the pale white around it. She pulled out her wings, and stood defensibly, keeping her wings spread around her. A few moments later, and there was an acid dripping down her black feathers. jumping in pain, she closed her eyes momentarily, and the wings vanished. "What the hell!?" She snapped while stepping back, and crossing her arms. Now this was just getting annoying. Pushing her heel into the dirt below, and sweeping her hair to the side, Rose tilted her head, and looked up to the man.
" Let's not do anything we may regret," he smiled. " Now, can we talk this over like civilized beings? I can be a useful friend. Or a deadly enemy." Shifting from one leg to another, the girl rolled her eyes, and looked forward. "Fine. What could you possibly want?" Beginning to pace in a large circle around the man, Rose continued to let her eyes stare to his face. "You lonely? You need something?" Not a moment had passed by, but the girl had silently made her way just behind the man, and slammed her hands onto his shoulders, pushing herself up above him due to the aid of a box.
"Missing a little action?" Sliding her left hand over his shoulders, and behind his neck with a light, calming touch, she went on. "Or are you just simply curious? Never ventured into the world of an adult, never ventured far enough to get past a simple," She paused in front of the man, and ran her thumb lightly down his lips, and offered a cocky smile. "Kiss. Reaching for things you can't have? For things society will not let you have?" She lightly patted her hand onto his chest, and walked on, continuing her circle.
"Or is it simply because I interest you, I make you want to know more? Or is it because you would rather look to my but without my clothing, don't worry, i already know taht your eyes have ventured."

Once again, it was a pleasant surprise to see her react so quickly. To most people, the thought of her wings disappearing so suddenly would have been just a bit too far, but to him? No, he’d seen weirder. Then she looked frustrated again, didn’t she have any tact? "Fine. What could you possibly want?" What, did she think he wanted something in particular? Every other second of his life was planned! Circling him, like a hunting cat. Interesting, interesting.
"You lonely? You need something?" She was on him like flies on, well, this whole section of town. "Missing a little action?" So that’s what she was getting at. Whale it sounded like a fine idea, he honestly liked the catch more then the kill. And she wasn’t exactly running, to say the least. "Or are you just simply curious? Never ventured into the world of an adult, never ventured far enough to get past a simple,” she paused, reaching for more of her seemingly well practiced tricks. "Kiss. Reaching for things you can't have? For things society will not let you have?" Please, he could have anything we wanted, if he had the guts to ask. She had obviously done this before, all her movements flowing and precise, striking just the right points to release maximum response. Sadly, she was dealing with somebody a bit tougher then the average street merchant.
"Or is it simply because I interest you, I make you want to know more? Or is it because you would rather look to my but without my clothing, don't worry, I already know that your eyes have ventured." She finished, still continuing with her pacing. Then, she finally ceased speaking. It was time for a well placed rebuttal.
“How about,” he placed his arm in her path, stopping the circuit. “I answer your questions in chronological order?” he leaped up onto the same box she had used earlier, still solid despite a few rotting boards. “What do I want? Well, I suppose that depends on exactly what you have to offer. I don’t get out much, and anything adventurous helps keep me sane. If I want anything beyond that, I’d prefer my buddy got his gold back. I owe him, so I can cover it.”
Then, he leaped off the box and right into her face, bending down to meet her eye to eye. “Lonely? In need? Hardly. Curious? Perhaps. Never gotten past a kiss?” the magic was working again, this time with a bit of discrepancy added in case she was watching the arcane. “Well, I don’t think you need to know that, now do you? I’ve been reaching for things they won’t let me have all night, like I do every night out.” He moved away, now circling her in a much smaller diameter then she had him.
“To be honest, you do interest me. You have, oh I don’t know, a certain MYSTERY about you. I do want to know more, maybe a bit of what you’re thinking. To see you without clothing? Don’t know yet, you do seem to be a bit too much of an easy catch. Honestly, when you stand directly in front of somebody elevated and with your back turned to them, you put yourself in my view, they didn’t venture anywhere.”
He took himself out of the circle. “Your choice really, I’m not gong to force you to do anything. You got anything fun your doing, however, I can pay if you let me tag along.”

The girl had never been caught in the situation before, it never even really brushed past her mind. But it was some use of a little fun. Something that she had lacked in her mind for a while. It had been so strict of business for the past few months that she began to stress, and take it out on everything. But this one, she knew that if she were to do anything, he could take it. He looked young, but the boy was obviously smarter than any average teen. He was book smart, something that you don't need while on the streets. What you needed while on the streets, was the intelligence to shut the hell up when something was getting bad, or to be able to talk yourself out of it. This boy knew nether.
“How about,” An arm was placed out in her path, causing Rose to stop and let her piercing gaze meet the man's. “I answer your questions in chronological order?” A brow raised as the man jumped up onto the box she once stood upon. The fading wooden planks lightly cracked under his weight, making Rose let out a small, nearly silent laugh. He was like the mouse, and she was the cat playing with her food just before deciding it's fate. “What do I want? Well, I suppose that depends on exactly what you have to offer. I don’t get out much, and anything adventurous helps keep me sane. If I want anything beyond that, I’d prefer my buddy got his gold back. I owe him, so I can cover it.” "Good, I'm sure as hell not going to pay him back."
The boy jumped down, and stared into Rose eye level, having to bend down slightly to do so. She could feel the heat of his breath as the man stood before her, Rose never even reacting. “Lonely? In need? Hardly. Curious? Perhaps. Never gotten past a kiss?” She just asked so many questions, seeing the reaction. “Well, I don’t think you need to know that, now do you? I’ve been reaching for things they won’t let me have all night, like I do every night out.” An amused smile grew to the girl's lips, and she let out a small laugh. "Oh? So you are daddy's little boy? I see it now. Your the prince of the land, get everything you want?"
“To be honest, you do interest me. You have, oh I don’t know, a certain MYSTERY about you. I do want to know more, maybe a bit of what you’re thinking. To see you without clothing? Don’t know yet, you do seem to be a bit too much of an easy catch. Honestly, when you stand directly in front of somebody elevated and with your back turned to them, you put yourself in my view, they didn’t venture anywhere.” She ignored the last part, and only stopped on the easy catch. Offended, the girl glared, and began to speak. "I may seem like an easy catch boy, but you will find that not even the prince could have me on his word. I can tease you, and I will, but you can't have what I can offer." Oh and tease him she would, all to just put small thoughts in his head. Some men slept in horror of what didn't happen, and what they wanted to happen, and didn't get.
“Your choice really, I’m not gong to force you to do anything. You got anything fun your doing, however, I can pay if you let me tag along.” She didn't need money. All the girl liked to do was wander about the town, watching people as they lived on. As they had what she didn't. The girl owed something to the people, as they had saved her life. "I don't need money to have fun." Rolling her eyes in frustration, and walking towards one of the building walls, she peered over her shoulder, and spoke. "But you are welcome to come, if you must. Just don't slow me down."
A single kick to a nearby stand, and Rose was up to the roof of a building, letting her eyes scan the night sky. The girl's step was silent, and quick as she jumped over the gaps between buildings. Where was she headed? Well, out of town. She wanted to see how far this boy would go, even if it were to make his 'daddy' angry with him.

"Oh? So you are daddy's little boy? I see it now. Your the prince of the land, get everything you want?"
First thing to relly hit home all night. Honestly, how did she know? He haden’t said it, after all. Still, she was obviously a tad dence to a few facts. “ You relly are a forgienger aren’t you,” he giggled to sustain her laugh. “ You do understand what monarchs have to do here, don’t you. Oh, we do al the normal roliety stuff; issue decrees, run the military and law enforcement, logistics, but the Kaharini rulership also is expected to leap out of the palace and neturlize any major problems personly. Why, I was trying to have a bit of extra fun tonight becuese I head out at dawn tommarow. A bit of a gnoll problem in the outer farms, nothing too major. Besideds,” he swung himself around a lamppost and gripped. “ Do you honestly think The King would approve of this? I admit your clever enough to figure out who I was, but clearly not enougth to understand the depths of the situation. I don’t get what I want, I have to give what they want.”
This poor little girl. In truth, although he did not understand what life she led, she was poorly undereducated. Granted, she had street smart, but street smarts rarly reached beyond the surface of a situation. The indirect consequences, the effects on social structure, the complete opinion change, these were the kind of things anybody on the street lacked. She was something else, far differt then the others he had met in dark allies on his nights out. He saw a bit of himself in her, in it more for the prosses then the result that would never come. If she was trying to tease a well tested teaser, she would have to do far better then that.
It was fairly obvious she had ignored the last sentence of his next statement. Arrogent as she seemed, he haden’t expected her to accept the unintended concicouness of her actions. She could always run, in court you coulden’t. "I may seem like an easy catch boy, but you will find that not even the prince could have me on his word. I can tease you, and I will, but you can't have what I can offer." That only emphasized the point he had already reached in his mind. She wasen’t likely going to be easy enough for that, but he could still have some “real” fun before heading back to that stuffy palace. Certainly, a few thoughts of that had crossed his mind, as they would any mortal man, but his professional will quickly surpressed them. Such simple thoughts were almost effortless to ignore. Then she turned away, after some throwaway comment, and simply said "But you are welcome to come, if you must. Just don't slow me down."
Then, like that, she was on the roof. Sadly, he haden’t developed the power of flight yet, so he was reduced to scarbling up the crumbling beams and masonery, a bit slowly as it kept crumbling around him. Thankfully, he was able to make that up whale he leaped, as his legs were stronger then hers.
Finnaly, a caught up and lowered his stride to meet hers. “ So, were are we going?” he asked just above the roar of passing air.
