"An amulet would make this process much easier. I would appreciate it, but let us wait until we get back. If it tires you out, it would be best to do that at your home." He replied and did as was asked of him to create the potion. He took great care to listen to what she said, and the results were what Genira had claimed they would be.
"An interesting process." He commented as he let Genira heat the mixture. Sadly, he could not take in the smells. His hearing and eyesight were exceptional, but he had no sense of smell or taste. Still, he was perfectly capable of being glad with the results so far. It seemed that this was a rather simple potion. He would have to make sure to know what heat it was raised to during this stage, but those were details that could be covered later.

"An amulet would make this process much easier. I would appreciate it, but let us wait until we get back. If it tires you out, it would be best to do that at your home." "We have to go to an old tomb, i would have to ask some spirits. I can't do it, personally, any other way." The girl lightly smiled up to Oroan, appreciating his concern. He was a sweet one, and seemed to be the exact opposite of what he looked. The townspeople, they screamed, ran, terrified. But her, she just went up to the demon, and saw if he was okay. Could it have been a bad choice? Well, yes. It could have been. But the point was that it wasn't, and she was actually having fun.
"An interesting process." She nodded. "Now, i am going to show you what it does. Don't worry, I am not emo, just a demonstration." Quickly pulling the knife across her palm, Genira flinched, and squinted her eyes. A small 'ow', and the girl scooped up some of the potion, and poured it over the cut. Holding her hand out so oroan could see the reaction, she began to explain, pointing things out as she went along. "You see how it is turning into a red foam? Well, it is healing the cut over. In a few seconds my hand will look good as new." Rinsing her hand off in the stream next to them, Genira showed Oroan her healed hand.
"The potion should come to a low boil, like it was."

Oroan rose an eyebrow at mention of part of the process of creating the amulet. He was looking forward to that part of the process. He had spoken to several spirits in the past, in many realms. He wondered if he would encounter any he had spoken with, and an amused look came to his eyes at the thought of him possibly being responsible for some of them being spirits in the first place.
He watched the demonstration, not surprised that Genira would cause herself a slight injury to show how effective the potion was. He nodded, showing he understood how the potion was made and how it worked. He would still need to practice doing it correctly, but he understood the basics of it.
"Most impressive." He commented as he looked over at his own potion and made sure it was doing well. Then he brought an arm up and ran a claw across it, his blood was red when exposed to air, just as a human's. he copied what he had seen and watched as the potion took effect, not as quickly, though he wasn't sure as to if that was due to him getting it slightly off, or his own physiology.
"It seems I was fairly successful. I thank you, this will be a very useful thing to know." He said as he watched the wound close completely. This was certainly a craft he would explore in full.

"Most impressive." Genira nodded, and pulled out a few vials, watching as he did the same process as himself. "Looks like you don't have enough of the healing herb. Try putting in two more, then see." Genira offered a few of the extra ones that she had picked up, and smiled. She heated the mixture as he dropped the herbs in, Now it was perfect. The sweet smell swirled into the air, and the steam brushed against the girl's face.
"It seems I was fairly successful. I thank you, this will be a very useful thing to know." "Hey, it's no problem." A sweet smile, and the girl lightly leaned back, and tossed over a few vials. Just fill up the vials, and then we will be off to get you some amulets!"[/color] Quickly filling her bottles, the girl stood, and awaited for Oroan to fill his vials before turning to head north.

Oroan did as instructed, and then they were to fill vials to transport them. Oroan deftly worked, to fill them and once he was finished, he saw that Genira was ready to lead him to retrieve the amulets. "Just out of curiosity, how far are we going? he asked, wondering where this location actually was.
However, he would still simply follow Genira. Oroan felt fortunate to have run across her. She was helpful, asking for nothing from him. A concept he found interesting, the beings of his own realm never asked for more than they gave, but a trade off was always part of how things were.
Which wasn't to say that he didn't like the idea of someone helping him without any ulterior motives. He felt it could be a good thing to learn. From his past studies of this world, many of the beings held that in high regard, despite the fact they may not act in such a way themselves.

"Just out of curiosity, how far are we going?" A small shrug, and Genira replied. "Well, we are going to an old tomb, so it is just about two or three miles from here." She smiled, and motioned for him to follow. "You have anywhere to put your vials?" taking a few jumps onto rocks toe cross the stream, Genira landed on the other side, and awaited for Oroan to come. Once he had crossed the stream, the girl began to walk on, and glance over her shoulder every so often.
On her way she motioned towards a in different directions, and explained where they led to, all so he would know something about the land. She explained plants, animals, locations, dangers of the lands, everything someone new should know. A little bundle of knowledge she was, just making sure that Oroan knew everything he needed to know.
It took about an hour, but the girl had finally led them all of the way to the tomb. taking a deep breath, and slowly letting it out, the girl looked up to the familiar tomb. "Here we are. Just remeber, you must not enter the circle once I have begun, it could be bad for us both." Pulling off her mask, and sweeping down her hood, Genira smiled, and set the two items off to the side. She pulled off her cape, relieving the baggy clothing beneath, folded it, and lied it next to the mask.
Pushing through the large doors, Genira entered, and began to pass through many winding halls, searching for a particular room.

Oroan followed Genira, and gave a small nod at her question about his vials. Holding his arm out to the side, he held his cloak open, revealing several pouches sewn to the inside lining. He slide the vials in and let his cloak close as they walked along.
He listened with rapt attention to he explanations of where things where and what was in these lands. In some ways he noted that this realm was not too far from being like his own. His home realm was simply a little more sinister.
They reached their destination and Genira gave him some instructions pertaining to a circle she would create. This concept he was very familiar with and knew to keep from disturbing her. She then removed the mask, hood and cape. Wondering if it were some type of protocol, he removed his scarf and cloak, laying them down in a similar manner, revealing the skeletal frame of his body in full.
Genira pushed open the doors, and naturally Oroan followed, very eager to witness what was to come next.

The girl had made the circle many moons before, seeing how only her tribe could actually summon the spirits as far as she knew. They had studied the practice for many years, and she knew much of the arts. She, personally, could summon any spirit. All that was a factor was how much life force she had contained to even give them ten minutes of life. But in this case, she was summoning two different elemental spirits, and usually they were generous on their taking of life. Would she be exhausted? most likely.
Pushing open the old stone doors, and leaving them open for Oroan, she passed into the winding hallways. About ten minutes of walking back in the ruins, and she finally led the two to their ultimate destination. A small pathway led out to a large summoning circle, with anything other than the narrow path and circle, the landscape drops down to a forsaken place, where not one person knows where. Whispers, they filled the room, as if hundreds of people wanted to talk to the girl. Genira just lit the blue flames, and watched as the silver room lit up.
"Alright, stay here." A light smile, and the girl turned around, and walked down the pathway. Ghostly creatures, lost souls, the floated beside her, and circled. She was filled with life, and they wanted some of it. The girl stepped into the center of the circle, and swiftly made a few smooth movements, ending with the ice spirit, freezing part of the room on one side, and the fire spirit, heating the silver to bright red. She spoke a few words in and ancient language, and pulled out the amulets.
Bowing to the two as they enchanted the amulets, Genira looked up to the ice spirit, and smiled, taking the frozen amulet into her hand, and in return giving some of her life force. She did the same with the fire, and was engulfed in flames, the sort that drained her life source. A quick moan of pain, and she fell to her knees, holding the amulets as the spirits vanished. "I don't see... How they need... So much energy for... A freaking amulet..."

Following Genira, Oroan made a point to make a passing observational study of his surroundings as they headed to where Genira would contact the spirits for the creation of the amulets. Going through the doorway, Oroan was told to stay where he was, which he did.
He watched, enraptured at the sight of what was being done. Very few demons used this kind of magic. They operated in very different ways when trying to accomplish things like this. His eyebrows rose at the sight of seeing Genira engulfed in flame, but that was simply a conditioned response to such a thing. He knew of magics that worked in this way.
Though the moan of pain, and the fact Genira feel to her knee told Oroan she had just done something for him that was not necessary, not for the result, even if it was temporary. Oroan knew enough about this type of magic to know now that it was done and over with, there was little to no risk of negative results from walking into the circle.
Bending down to extend an arm for Genira to support herself on, he made sure to keep his hand clenched, allowing his claws to present no risk to her. "While I am grateful, I wish you would have been more clear as to what this required. I assumed you would simply be tired. You were messing with potentially dangerous forces there. I hope you do not make this a regular habit." He said.

Taking his offer, and puling herself up, Genira brushed her hair to the side, and offered a small smile. "Thanks." This was something she did quite a bit, making the girl used to it, hence her standing at that point. The girl released his closed fist, and let out a small sigh. It was kind of a strange ceremony, but worked for their advantage. The girl held out the amulets, and smiled up. It was what they came for, and the two now had that.
"While I am grateful, I wish you would have been more clear as to what this required. I assumed you would simply be tired. You were messing with potentially dangerous forces there. I hope you do not make this a regular habit." A cheesy smile, showing that the girl obviously did it a lot, and Genira spoke. "About that." A small laugh, and Genira began to walk towards the exit. "I have to come here quite a bit for selling things. Gets me some good money."
((D8 I am sorry for the bad post!!!))

Pinning the amulets between his claws, Oroan looked a them closely, it was certainly an impressive bit of magic to say the least. Genira seemed fine now. She didn't seem to show any real ill effects, apparently the strain on her wasn't as severe as it had seemed at first, a good thing.
Then she mentioned that she did this fairly often. He rose and eyebrow at hearing this. "You certainly do face an interesting task to procure funds." He said. He didn't feel too greatly one way or the other about how Genira accomplished this, though it did interest him. He was sure that Genira had safeguards against certain spirits that would do far worse then sap a little life force. But he had seen the potential dangers firsthand, it was a risk to tangle with the spiritual realm in any capacity.
Following her out, Oroan slipped the amulets on over his head and slide his hair up from under the necklaces they were on. "Well this certainly has been a productive day so far. Is there anything else to do, or did this last little part of our day take enough out for you to make you want to return home?" He asked as they walked along.

"You certainly do face an interesting task to procure funds." Genira nodded, and motioned for him to follow. "Indeed, this is why I am trying to get a job at the palace." The girl had made her way out of the tomb, and weaved through the halls. "Well this certainly has been a productive day so far. Is there anything else to do, or did this last little part of our day take enough out for you to make you want to return home?" Genira pulled herself through the tomb's entrance, and looked back to Oroan. "Anything you want to look at? If not I kinda want to go home."
The girl smiled, and walked towards the town, and directly to the wall. She quickly climbed up, and stopped at the top, staring over the landscape.
((x.x Okay, I really need to get my muse back, i am sorry!))

OOC: Don't worry about it. We all have our off times. Quality over quantity.
IC: Oroan gave a nod. "Likely a wise choice. Though working at a palace can be taxing in it's own ways." He said, speaking from experience. He had served the royal family in the kingdom he had resided in back in his own realm. As both a soldier and an adviser.
They exited the tombs and got back outside. Oroan made sure to retrieve his cloak. Genira had mentioned she would rather return home. He gave a nod as he felt it was likely the best choice.
When they reached the town's wall, Genira climbed up and oroan gave a leap, landing next to her. he looked over to her, noticing how she was looking out over the land. "You certainly like to take things in don't you?" He asked as that odd 'smile' he made with his eyes came back to his face. He often did just the same thing she was doing, staring at what he wished to see.

"Likely a wise choice. Though working at a palace can be taxing in it's own ways." She could only expect that, seeing how there were so many roomers of the prince. She had herd that he was a pervert, but the girl could deal. There were so many around the Kingdom, drifting it into it's future. So strange what Kaharini was was resulting to, the new generation was forming everything with the hell that rained upon the land. She quickly brought Oroan out of the tomb, snatched up her items, pulled the cape on while tucking away her mask into the cape, and she went one.
Making it to the top of the wall, Genira stared out over the land, watching as the sun began to lower in the sky. "You certainly like to take things in don't you?" The girl nodded, and smiled over to him. "Ya, you never know how log it will be until you get to see it again, you know?" Sometimes she had been trapped in the town, swamped in work. Offering her faint smile, the girl looked back over the town, and lightly spoke. "Ready to go?"

Oroan gave a nod to her response. "I know all to well." He replied as he jumped down when asked if he was ready to go. Even though he didn't need nourishment like most beings, he did need rest. And his travel from one realm to the next had drained him, without any real rest, he had accompanied Genira.
Not that he had any regrets, but he would nest some rest soon, so the quicker they reached Genira's house, the better as far as he was concerned.
"So are there other positions at the castle that need to be filled?" He asked out of curiosity. He had done well in his own realm, and from what he had seen of the people in this world, their ways of operation were not too different. Not overall. There were some subtleties, but Oroan was a quick learner.
